Searching the Nursing Literature

Description and Navigation: This guide introduces you to the MCHS Library website and how to effectively access, search and find the most reliable literature using effective search strategies. 

Examples include demonstrations of 3 search options and the advantages of each one: MCHSL Search, Clinical Search and Advanced Search.

There are also examples of how to effectively search single databases including CINAHL and PubMed.

To get started, click on the "MCHS Library Search Options" tab located on the left navigation menu to begin learning how to search the literature using 3 unique search options.
