Medical Subject Headings (MeSH) are terms that are very helpful when constructing a literature search. They are standardized words indexed in the PubMed database to help you identify the most appropriate words to use to find relevant subject matter. Use a combination of MeSH terms and your own keywords to develop an effective literature search on your topic.
