RefWorks: Citation Management Made Easy

Account Set Up

Follow these steps to set up a RefWorks Account:

  • Hover over the Resources navigation menu on the Library homepage. 
  • Choose RefWorks Citation Management or visit the RefWorks Link.
  • Click on Create account.  
  • Enter your @mchs or @mccn e-mail in the box to verify that you are affiliated with the Mount Carmel Health Sciences Library.  
  • Click Check to allow RefWorks to authorize your account (this may take a few minutes). 
  • Once RefWorks authorizes your affiliation with Mount Carmel, you will be prompted to create a password, check the consent box for RefWorks privacy policies and click the Sign Up button. 
  • After completing these steps, check your e-mail for an activation link.  Follow directions in the e-mail message to activate you account.  
  • Fill in the fields, read the welcome screens, and follow the on-screen instructions to complete your registration.
