Nurse Author & Editor is an international publication, dedicated to publishing high-quality, current, and informative articles on scholarly writing and publishing in the nursing literature. Founded in 1991 by Suzanne Hall Johnson, Nurse Author & Editor has been published continuously since its inception and celebrated its 25th anniversary in 2015. The publication began as a print newsletter and transitioned to a quarterly, open access publication in 2006. Nurse Author & Editor is published by Wiley-Blackwell Ltd.

The Mulford Health Sciences Library at the University of Toledo has an “Instructions to Authors in the Health Sciences” database that will direct you to the webpage that has that journal’s instructions for submission.

“These pages provide links to Web sites which provide instructions to authors for over 6,000 journals in the health and life sciences. All links are to "primary sources" - that is, to publishers and organizations with editorial responsibilities for the titles.”
