We are currently working with several departments to develop CEU courses for Paramedic refresher. We have developed lectures for OB, cardiac, stroke, and environmental emergencies.
These courses are taught by physicians and are offered at your station when you need them. We tweak them specific to your protocol and work in collaboration with the MCHS Center for Innovative Learning to bring simulation on site with the lecture.
MCHS EMS can currently offer ACLS and BLS on site. Please contact us to get details on this new offering!
MCHS is currently working to develop conferences at each campus including a cardiac conference on Feb 16th at MCSA. It will include free CEUs from lectures from cardiologists, cardiovascular surgeons, and emergency room physicians. There will tours of the new open heart surgical suites and the cath lab. Breakfast and lunch will be provided. Registration is free and limited. Please register by emailing jwilson5@mchs.com
Also be on the lookout for information on our Trauma Symposium that will take place in the fall of 2015 at MCW. This year's conference will have information specific for EMS. More details to come!
Currently educational requests can be made to jwilson5@mchs.com. We will work with you to develop education based on your request tailored to your needs. As we move forward we are developing a digital request form to expedite the process.
MCHS EMS is currently approved through the ODPS to provide CEUs to EMS. Our ODPS approval number is 2402.
